Founded in 2022, this was a personal project - born from a desire to capture the scent of warmth, belonging and the sweet ache of memories.
As we explored these solitary and intimate inner spaces, we realised something beautiful: the emotions we often experience alone are also the ones that connect us most deeply to one another.
That is what PEOSYM stands for: Personal Expression Of Stories, Yearnings & Memories.
This is perfumery as an Intellectual quest - a philosophical introspection into the nature of stories. Not just narrating them but also about why stories matter, why we tell them, share them and how we are shaped by them.
As a person of Indian heritage, I am deeply conscious of not treating culture as a trope. Yet, this being a huge part of who I am, it can not be denied as a source of inspirations either - a world of rich history, paradoxical layers, and endless nuance. Instead of boxing heritage into a singular narrative, we use it as a lens to understand the texture of life.

Commitment to Craft
Perfection leaves no room for growth; it is a rather stagnant place. We look for beauty in the friction of evolution - the phases that are sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes exciting, and always interesting.
Taking abstract concepts of emotional experiences and cultural nuances, we work alongside master perfumers to craft our fragrances - treating the dry down as the heart of the structure, rather than its end. Layer by layer, each scent is built as an environment ready to enter, and find your own connection within.
Rest of our production takes place in professional and responsible facilities right here in Australia. Our packaging is designed to be biodegradable and recyclable wherever possible, and kept minimalistic by avoiding unnecessary layers. At PEOSYM, we believe that mindfulness, in craft, materials, and every small decision, is the truest form of luxury.
Social Responsibility
A portion of our sales goes towards supporting Shanti Bhavan, an organization that provides comprehensive education to underserved children in India. Their work breaks the cycle of systemic poverty by offering long-term educational support, from preschool through advanced degrees.
